Mandatory check-in for anyone going to the build site is located at 3301 N. Main Street. Shuttles will run continuously between 8am - 8pm. Parking around the build area is not permitted.

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009 - Pep Rally
8 am – Pep Rally for all trades and volunteers at Grace Methodist Church
Ark Remodeling & Construction, subcontractors, volunteers and special appearance by Conrad Ricketts, Executive Producer of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Media is welcome to attend and schedule interviews with builders and others after the rally.

Monday, December 7, 2009 - Day 1
Door Knock Day
*After door knock, media will receive updated information electronically on family and location of home. At that point media is invited to come set up for coverage (be around 11:30 am)

Family Press Conference - 2:00pm Press Conference
Media will have opportunity for interview with the family.

BRAVEHEART - Builder meets the family
(approximately 3:30pm)

Tuesday, December 8, 2009 – Day 2
DEMO day - build crew marches to house and then demolition begins (5pm) Set up Tents.

Wednesday, December 9, 2009 – Day 3
Framing begins – after foundation sets, carpenters go to work setting up walls and floors.
1st day for Spectators
One of the most exciting days – watch the house go up in front of your eyes!

Thursday, December 10, 2009 – Day 4
Construction continues inside and outside.

Friday, December 11, 2009 – Day 5
Paint, paint and more paint. Here comes the kitchen!

Saturday, December 12, 2009 – Day 6
Interior finishes are done. Landscape being finished.

Sunday, December 13, 2009 – Day 7
We did it, we built a house! Turn the keys over and move-in the furniture! (Tentatively 3pm)

Monday, December 14, 2009 – Day 9
REVEAL day - Finishing details and family arrives home between 1pm-3 pm. MOVE THAT BUS! (Note: Crowd, bus and limo shots begin as early as 11am.)

Tuesday, December 15, 2009 – Day 10
Tentaively between 3pm-4pm - Family/Builder Press Conference
First interviews with the family after they see their house – at this time gifts may be presented to the family from the community donations.
